Fierce Tour Deep Key Points
By approaching the golf shot from a new direction, our goal is to create a shaft that will add yards to even the strongest player.
The Challenge:
The launch-monitor driven technology of ‘launch angle’ is essentially maxed out, and has resulted in a ball flight that, while getting the ball into the air, will also drop like a stone. Subsequently, the strong golfer with a powerful shot ends up losing precious yards because the ball fails to roll.
The Solution:
Focusing, for the first time, not only on the launch angle but also on the ‘Angle of Descent,’ Fierce Golf has created the Fierce Tour Deep.
The Tour Deep incorporates carbon nano-tubes within the resin system to dramatically strengthen and improve the alignment of the carbon fibers. This has allowed our design team, working with the engineers at Grafalloy, to increase the overall diameter, yet decrease the wall thickness of the center most section of the shaft.
Coupled with Grafalloy’s patented super-stiff Micro Mesh Tip Technology™, this shaft produces a ball trajectory that flies flat for most of its hang time.
Tour-quality Roll adds net yards.
A 4.5” parallel tip section allows club makers to build in between flexes.
